The GPS and Geofencing features.
The GPS Tracking and Geofencing feature of your KAREWatch™ MG requires a stable network connection to function fully. Make sure you are connected to a cellular network to activate GPS.
The built-in Geofencing Technology in KAREWatch™ MG has a medical alert capability to set up "safe movement zone" alerts, notifying members in the "alert chain" if a user moves outside a designated area
Locating your KAREWatch™ MG.
If you cannot locate the watch on the map after pressing the green pin, restart your watch outside, where GPS satellites can acquire the watch's position without obstruction.
The watch's location on the map may be far from its actual location. Allow 24 hours for the network to improve and note the multiple location sources and accuracy:
- GPS (5m-50m or 16ft-164ft): Clear view of the sky is required
- Wi-Fi (50m-500m or 164ft-1640ft): Location is based on IP address
- Location-Based Service (50m-1000m or 164ft-3280ft): Proximity to closest cell tower
